At South Close Developments we are committed to developing new designs and building systems that use environmentally friendly materials and methods of construction that meet the demands of the Department of Communities and Local Government ‘Code for Sustainable Homes’. We are also actively engaged in developing designs that will achieve carbon zero status ahead of the 2016 deadline for all new build homes. Our Managing Director, Eric Rosby, founded South Close Developments as a private development company but, in response to the high levels of interest in the eco-friendly materials and technologies we were using in our own projects, we launched our DESIGN & BUILD construction service in 2007. We now work with local councils, housing associations and individuals, constructing eco-homes across the North East.
